Co-Founder & Harmony Officer, Aftercare Partner

For over 21 years, I supported people with intellectual and developmental disabilities — many of whom had no family, no voice, and no one to hold their hand at the end.

I've sat at bedsides in silence. I've whispered final words. I've witnessed the sacred moment when someone takes their last breath — and the quiet chaos that follows for those left behind.

So when I lost my father — and later, my mother — I knew all too well how heavy grief could be. But this time, I had something most don't: access to the aftercare program my husband, Stephen, had created. It allowed me to handle everything — notifications, forms, and next steps- calmly and clearly from home.

That experience changed me.
And it became my calling.

Today, as Harmony Officer, I bring peace to the aftermath of loss. I design gentle systems that support families in their most challenging moments and ease the burden on the professionals who serve them.

At Aftercare Partner, we don't just handle tasks.
We honour transitions. We hold space.
And we believe that genuine care doesn't end at goodbye — it evolves.

I didn’t start Aftercare Partner because it was a business idea.
I started it because I’ve lived the quiet chaos that comes after a death.
I’ve stood in that fog—watching loved ones try to be strong while drowning in forms, phone calls, and the weight of it all.

That’s why my wife, Lynda, and I created Aftercare Partner.
Not just to offer a service, but to be a steady hand for families before and after the goodbye.
To bridge that gap between care and closure, presence and paperwork.

We believe compassion doesn’t end with a final breath.
It continues in the days and weeks that follow—when families are asked to navigate complex estate tasks while still holding their grief.
That’s when we show up.

With dignity. With clarity. With care.

Whether it’s walking someone through pre-planning, helping an overwhelmed executor, or gently guiding a family through the steps no one talks about—we’re here to make sure no one walks that road alone.
